Welcome to the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospitals.

The goal of this website is to provide information on the adult and older adult mental health services available in the Department of Psychiatry and about the kinds of therapies offered at the Vancouver General and University of British Columbia Hospitals.

While we cover many of the aspects of mental illness treatment, it is not possible to provide the detailed disease and treatment information that each individual may require. Users are encouraged to explore other websites and written material, and to discuss specific issues with a physician.
